Ingredients
INGREDIENTS FOR GARNISH
  • Fruit mixture
  • Butter 3 tablespoon
  • White or brown sugar 2 tablespoon
  • Apple 1 medium size
  • Orange 6-8 segments
  • A few seedless black grapes
  • Lime juice 1 tablespoon
  • Cake mixture
  • Butter ½ cup
  • Powdered sugar ½ cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Vanilla essence ½ tsp
  • All- purpose flour (Maida) 1 cup
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Cocoa 1 tablespoon
INGREDIENTS FOR CHOCOLATE SAUCE
  • Cocoa 6 tablespoon
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Hot water ½ cup
  • Milk 200 ml
  • Vanilla 1 tsp

Combine the flour with baking powder and cocoa. Mix well. Beat butter and sugar for the cake till light. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the Vanilla essence. Fold in the dry ingredients, and spread over the fruit mixture already in the pan.

When the pudding is done, switch off the cooker and remove the steaming basket. After 10 minutes, carefully turn out the pudding on to a serving plate. Serve warm with chocolate sauce.

To Serve

Lower the heat and simmer steadily till the sauce thickens slightly. Stir in the Vanilla essence. Serve warm.

Note: The pudding may be stored in refrigerator up to 2 days. Steam for 10 minutes in the steaming basket of Panasonic Automatic Cooker before serving with warm or cold chocolate sauce.
