Oven Fried Paneer Sticks
A guaranteed hit of a party starter, or an anytime snack, popular with both kids and adults!
- Paneer 250gm
- Ginger-garlic paste 2 tablespoons
- Chilli powder 1 teaspoon, or to taste
- Garam masala powder ¾ teaspoon
- Lime juice 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Bengal gram flour (Besan) 3 tablespoons
- Rice flour 3 tablespoons
- Oil 3-4 tablespoons
Preheat the oven to 180ºC ( I use Panasonic OTG). Cut paneer into 1cm thick fingers. Combine rest of the ingredients and toss the paneer fingers with this mixture, taking care not to break them.
Spread the pieces on a baking tray, lined with parchment paper or well -greased aluminium foil.
Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 25minutes.
Cool slightly and serve hot with a dip or chutney of your choice.
