Oven Fried Paneer Sticks

A guaranteed hit of a party starter, or an anytime snack, popular with both kids and adults!

  • Paneer 250gm
  • Ginger-garlic paste 2 tablespoons
  • Chilli powder 1 teaspoon, or to taste
  • Garam masala powder ¾ teaspoon
  • Lime juice 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Bengal gram flour (Besan) 3 tablespoons
  • Rice flour 3 tablespoons
  • Oil 3-4 tablespoons
Recipe Notes

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180ºC ( I use Panasonic OTG). Cut paneer into 1cm thick fingers. Combine rest of the ingredients and toss the paneer fingers with this mixture, taking care not to break them.

Step 2

Oven Fried Paneer SticksSpread the pieces on a baking tray, lined with parchment paper or well -greased aluminium foil.

Step 3

Oven Fried Paneer SticksPlace the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 25minutes.

To Serve

Oven Fried Paneer Sticks Cool slightly and serve hot with a dip or chutney of your choice.
